This study aimed to seek the reason for male students’ dropout at primary degree of F.R. Peshawar. The primary objectives of the study were. (a) to study the teacher problems and attitude about dropout, (b) to determine the factors which cause dropout (c) to review the Govt. strategy about dropout and (d) to supply suggestion to overcome this issue and improve literacy charge.

Following recommendations were designed for the improvement of the teaching-learning situation in the principal education establishments. Teachers should show good attitude and very well behave. The government should appoint the talented teacher and native teachers of the region. Teachers may improve and provide variety of approaches of motivation approaches in different teaching situation. Authorities should provide full focus on their education system by provides economic support to the poor students in form of scholarship and also government should facilitate the teachers and maximize their salary.

Education is a have to have of each society. The contemporary society uses university as its brokers of socialization. Pakistan even now behind in the competition/ manage of education. Pakistan could not improve his literacy level. Pakistan has one of the lowest literacy costs among the Asian countries (Farooq, 2001). Our educational system of main and secondary levels is very high percentage of college students who dropout before comprehensive a particular cycle. Pakistan is known as second lowest nation among those viewed as whose pupils complete primary education. Superior dropouts mark all degrees of primary education. A reasonably large numbers of enrolled students at primary education under no circumstances complete the cycle of their education (Rauf, 1996).

According to Aggrwal (2000) Education is a part stone of development. Every government made his efforts to market literacy rate but failed. Theses causes as under.

The elementary stage produces the bulk of skilled and literate workers and today’s technological society could be developed and maintained only once these skilled and literate employees are produced in a huge numbers and in addition regularly. This stage is essential specifically in a democratic culture. A democratic government requires that its citizen should be intelligent enough to understand the manifestoes of many political parties to interpret reports intelligently and critically and also to cast their vitas regarding with their own free choice and can (Rasool, 2000).

Statement of the Problem

The Affirmation of the Issue of the study was to discover the sources of dropout at Key level (5th Category) at F.R. Peshawar (Male School) and provide information and suggestion and remove hurdles on the region.

Objectives of The study

The main targets of the study were as follow.

To study teacher concerns and attitudes about dropout.

To determine the elements which cause dropout.

Significance of The study

The Significance of the Study is high dropouts mark all levels of most important and secondary education. Due to limited time and resources the analysis was delimited to ten (10) male schools of F.R. Peshawar Asho Khel area.

RESEARCH METHODOLOGY

NATURE OF RESEARCH

It was survey (descriptive) kind of research. Researchers survey the government schools of F.R. Peshawar and make an effort to learn the main cause of dropout at 5th class. The level of dropout in the federal government schools in very high this is why, the literacy ratio of the area is very low. All primary/ elementary colleges are in concern, including 5th class of F.R. Peshawar.

SAMPLING

As there are many colleges in F.R. Peshawar, but the researchers limited their studies to ten (10) determined boys’ schools of F.R. Peshawar, which are positioned in the area of Asho khel. As the majority of the schools happen to be out of my selection in fact it is difficult to attain there.

RESEARCH INSTRUMENT

Questionnaire-A for

DATA COLLECTION

Over all response of instructor, students and parents are clearly indicate below that in the initial item effects show that no fully attention of the teacher, the above desk indicate that 14.28 % of the teachers are trust this support that “No fully attention of instructor “is the cause of dropout, while in case of students 85.71% do not agree to it, while student 23.07 % students agree and 76.92% do not agree, in the event of parents 47.36% will be agree while 52.63 % are not agree. The over all 25% decided to it and 75 % didn’t agree. To be able of “having poor society”, it indicate that 94.59% of the teachers are concur that having bad society” is the cause of dropout, in case of students 5.40% do not consent to it, while students 31.24% agree and 68.75% do not agree, in the event of father and mother 92.59% agree, while 7.40% aren’t agree. The total 81.25% agree to it and 18.75 % didn’t agree with the fact. The poverty of the father and mother draw the photo that 79.41% of the teachers admit that ” the poverty of parents” may be the cause of dropout, while 20.58% do not consent to it, while in the event of students 82.14 % students are agree and 17.85 % are not agree, in the event of father and mother 61.11 % agreed, while 38.88 % do not agree. The over all 76.85 % agreed to it and 23.75 % did not agree with the fact. The methodology of coaching is the very first thing which affects the teaching. The effects shows that 60% of the teachers are agree that ” the oldest method of teaching” is the cause of dropout, while 40 % usually do not agree to it, while in case of students 37.50% learners are agree and 17.85 % aren’t agree, in case of parents 80.76 % agree, while 19.24 % do not agree. The over all 60 %60 % decided to it and 40 % didn’t agree. Corporal punishment is the major reason behind drop out ratio at principal level. It is clear from the higher than table that 30 percent30 % of the teachers are consent to the corporal punishment may be the reason behind dropout, while 70 percent70 % aren’t agree to it. while in the event of students 74.07 % pupils are agree and 25.92 % are not agreeing to it. In the event of father and mother 65.21 % are agree, while 34.79 % aren’t agree. The over-all 55 % people happen to be agreeing to it and 45% aren’t agreeing. Moreover having less facilities may be the key cause of drop out ratio at principal level, which may easily interpret the data in form of that 76% of the teachers are agree to the view about ” insufficient facilities” is the reason behind dropout, while 24% are not consent to it while in case of students 60.60 percent60 % students are not agree to it and 39.40 % are not agree. In the event of parents 68.18 % are consent to it, while 31.82 % are not agree. The over all 67.50 % people are consent to it and 32.50 % are not agree

CONCLUSIONS

After finding the researcher made the following conclusion by deep analysis, about the male student’s dropout at elementary level (Man) in F.R. Peshawar.

The teachers, college students and parents were of the check out that the challenge of dropout was due to

Majority of the teachers seen that teachers were responsible for dropout, due to corporal punishment, poor attention towards the students. Unaware ness can cause the dropout of the college students.

Majority of the students opined that pupils themselves are in charge of dropout, because fear of teachers; failure in evaluation, mental weaknesses and students weak in math and English and over playing is a cause of dropout.

Majority of the father and mother viewed that parents are accountable for dropout of their children because of their poverty, illiteracy, unawareness worth focusing on of education; having no father at home no fully control on children are the reason behind dropout, which may be the responsibility of parents.

RECOMMENDATIONS

After bottom line the researcher made the next suggestion for the betterment of learners of dropout at elementary level at F.R. Peshawar Asho Khel. The advice are as under.

The study outcomes revealed that teachers were responsible for dropout due to corporal punishment. It is recommended that teachers should present fair attitude and well behave. The federal government should appoint the skilled teacher and localized teachers of the region.

The study benefits showed that teachers had been responsible for dropout because of poor attention towards the students. Therefore it is suggested that teachers should offer fully attention to the students by giving incentives such as reward. . Teachers may improve and offer selection of approaches of motivation methods in several teaching situation.

The study benefits revealed that college students were self-responsible for dropout due to cause of concern with teachers; failure in evaluation, mental weaknesses and learners weak in mathematics and English. It is strongly recommended that teachers should provide awareness about education with their students apa research proposal by develop faith and assurance.
